Firle Place was a great success this year with a good turnout for
all categories of dog. Even the pouring rain did not stop a high
number of entrants enter each class.

The judges, James Whitehead and Andy Cheetham, had a difficult
job on their hands choosing the winners with such a field of dogs
entered. Notably in the Small Lurcher Class, where almost 20 dogs
were vying for the top spot.

The afternoon’s racing was also a tightly fought contest in all
categories with several classes running 3 or more heats.
